My nokia 3110c music library keeps on updating but when the update is finished, it says that no music files found

Take this procedure and DIY

* Memory card must be formatted first from the phone before loading any music file to its particular folder, make a new folder and rename it with "Music".place all music files on this folder so the phone recognizes the folder each time the music player update new songs.

* If this method doesn't work, try to replace a new memory card and do the steps on above procedure.

* Another method is by resetting your phone so that all functions and features will be refresh and back to default.By doing this, just go to settings > phone > restore factory default the choose this function, a code will be ask then enter the desire code or the default code is 12345.Before doing this procedure,be sure all data is back-up because it will erase everything after the process...

Hope this method helps... Thanks for visiting Fixya.

Hi i am using nokia 3110 c.recently i formatted my memory after that there is no folder.when i download music files they go to phone as usual but i have downloaded many songs in my mmc how to listen it on...

Some phone have a system folder on root directory after formatting the memory card on the mobile.Basically, you will see a music folder and all songs are placed their so the phone recognizes the folder everytime the music library automatically updates the songs installed.

When you load the memory card on your computer using a card reader, check the card content if there is any folder installed such as "my music" folder, if the is,try to load music on that folder.Otherwise, just make a new folder and rename it with "my music" or "music" folder.

If you already done on this method and still the phone music library does not see or update the music files, maybe you need to reset your phone to refresh your phone system memory that might be corrupted.By doing this, you need to go on your menu settings then locate the restore factory settings, remember that all files will be deleted if you wish to continue, better back up all your important data first before proceeding, and then it will ask for the lock code and then just enter your desire code or it enter 12345 as the default lock code.

If you have some questions and concerns, please don't hesitate to reply..Thank you.

Music files corrupted, then disappeared

I had something similar happen to mine (corrupted music files). In Explorer right click on your F: drive, choose Properties, go to the Tools tab and then click the Check Now for error checking. Check both boxes then click Start. Once finished go back into Explorer, click on the Tools Menu, choose Folder Options, in the windows that comes up click on the View tab. In the Advanced settings section click the Show Hidden Files and Folders, then click OK. Now look at your F: drive and see what is there. There should be a MUSIC, PHOTO, PICTURES, PLAYLISTS, RECORD, SYSTEM, TMP, & VIDEO folders. Look in the MUSIC folder to see what music is in there. See it they still show up as corrupt when you turn on your Sansa. If so you may need to delete all the music files in the MUSIC folder and re-copy them to the device. Also, if you see any folders call FOUND.000 I would delete them, these will contain corrupted files that Windows found when checking the drive and are now useless too you. Hope this helps.
