How to add ringtones

You can try using email to text. However, iTunes is usually not compatible with anything non-apple and it is likely they have made it so the ringtone will only work on an iPhone. In case it may work, here's how to send it to your phone:
1. Open Gmail or another email service
2. Compose a message and for the to address, put (Phone number all ten didgets) for Verizon phone or (Phone number all ten didgets) for AT&T phone.
3. Click "attach file" and select the ringtone. (not in iTunes) you will have to find it in another folder such as "Music" on your PC
4. Once the file has been uploaded, click send
5. You should receive it as a text
6. If it doesn't work, then iTunes has not allowed you to use it outside of iTunes.

I have an lg decoy, and my wife would like to get the "whistle" ringtone (ringtone #9) for her phone. But we cannot find this ringtone anywhere. Is there a way to transfer a standard ringtone from my decoy...

For this, you will need Multimedia Messaging on your phone(Text Messaging, able to send pictures). You just hit Attatch, or Insert(dont have the phone personally but everythings relativeley the same). From this point either pick "Tone", "Music", "Media", "Multimedia", or something similar. Navigate to the tone and viola! Send it to your wife :) On the other side, if this doesnt work, google "Decoy Ringtone Set" or "Decoy Ringtones", you might get lucky!

My SE K800i is shut down permanently, what could be the possible reason? When i showed it to SE service center they replied that the cell's motherboard is damaged. When surfed internet on this problem, i...

I have had the same problem with my K850i. Trying the EROM update process is not useful because the phone is dead so the software won't see it. I had to send mine to the nearest SE service centre. When I get back to get the unit I asked what the problem with my phone they stated that it was an EROM fault but that is was beyond economical repair and had to replace the main board. You really need to send it back to the service centre and just hope that they'll do something with it. I wasn't charged for it as it was under warranty and it was a manufacturers fault.

Need help on sending ringtones from my motorola v3

when you get a "sound" you want to save as a ringtone and you think you may want to use it again to send to another phone, always save it as a sound so that you can text it... Otherwise you can try looking on for the ringtone you want on your other phone, you'll have to sign up and select which phone you have. It is absolutely free. does not charge for ringtones and there is no subscription.

Even though the phones profile is not set to silent. the volume on the standard profile could be switched off ! go into the profile settings to check that the volume for your current profile is switched on and up. if the problem persists, seek help from Sony Ericsson And/or your Mobile Phone Carrier

Lg vx9900 question

you cannot load ringtones through the data cable. you need to send them to your phone as an attachment from an email address. from your email address attach what ever sound file you want to use as a ringtone and send it to (your 10 digit phone # once you receive the message you will have to press options and save file. make sure to save the file as a ring tone. some phones will only let you save certain types of files as ringtones so you'll have to experiment with that. this is true for most all vzw phones
