Question about Brinkmann ProSeries 810-6330-W Grill

1 Answer

Low flame After about a 2 year storage my ProSeries 2210 gas poceliain outdoor grill has a very limited and low flame level. So low that I am unable to grill anything! The propane tank level seems find and when I tap with my cleaning brush the flame seems to temporarily increase. What could it be? Something caught in the propane line, corroded burners or something else??

HI, The burner tubing could be plugged. I just had the same issue and I found the burner had moved and the tube that fits on the burner switch gas inlet, had came apart. Remove the burner and clean out the tube attatch to the burner. I hope this helps you. Vic

The newer type tank has an anti tip safety device. It gets all boo boo'd when the grill is moved around. Remove the tank. Open the valves on the grill and close them back. Re install the tank and slowly open the valve.

Natural gas converted grill will not get hot

Did you put a regulator on the grill when you converted it? Check with your local gas supplier. I St Louis, MO the pressure is low enough to not require the use of a regulator.

How do I light the grill manually

Get a butane grill lighter. Open the hood of your grill. Remove the cooking grates and one by one turn the burner to low. Light the butane grill lighter prior to turning the burner on and as you turn the burner to low touch the flame of the lighter to the burner. Leave all burners on low, until you replace the cooking grates. Be very very careful, as you don't want gas to buildup before each burner is lit.

Then contact Brinkman for replacement ignitors.

Gas tank is full, burners are turned on high, but flame is very low

lProblem: Low flames on grill, tank is full.

Cause: These newertanks have a device inside that limits the flow of gas to preventleaking or accidental discharge of gas from the cylinder. The leak detector mechanism inside the tank shuts off the gas whenever the valve is opened rapidly.

Solution:
Closethe tank valve and remove the tank. Check the gas line for ANY objectthat could cause blockage. Open all valves on the grill to eliminateany pressure whatsoever. Close all valves and reattach tank. SLOWLYopen the tank not over 2 turns. Check for leaks. I just open my tank atiny bit but that is just me.

Burner flames don't get hot, like not enough gas.

Try this, Turn off the tank. Disconnect it. Reconnect it. Turn tank valve back on very slowly and then see if you get bigger flame size.

Just bough weber Q200 grill. Is it normal that the flame burns so low and blue?Used to large flames off conventional grills. Thanks.e.

I have used the Q-series for 2 years. The blue and low flame is absolutely normal. Weber's philiosophy is of avoiding flare ups when grilling for best taste. I love this grill - very easy to clean, uses less gas and makes great food.

Low gas flame

Also read the manual, You must open the LP tank valve very slow, the new tanks have funny safety design, I had low flame on the 2nd use w/full tank and was puzzled because it was high flame on the night before.
