Sounds like you have a sensor problem, happened to me before, just go online and search for the sensor, should be able to tell you what to do.

I cant connect my guitar to the ps3

1. First of all, make sure the batteries are in the guitar.
2. With your PlayStation 3 console powered off, insert the wireless receiver into an available USB connector on the console.
3. Press and hold the PS button on the guitar to turn it on.
4. Turn on your PlayStation 3 console.
5. Press the connect button on the wireless receiver (not the guitar). The status light will flash, indicating that the receiver is searching for the controller.
6. Press the PS button on the guitar to establish a connection with the receiver. (You may have to wait for the receiver to stop flashing so fast. I think it flashes real fast at first, but then slows down.)

Also, make sure the guitar is assigned as control port #1.

I hope that helps.

Another thing that may help. Unplug all your usb cords that recharge your headset or controllers. Make sure the USB connector is the only thing pluged in and in the furthest left slot. That is what i had to do.

Wireless guitar ps2

The only solution I know is the one I tried when I had the same problem. One thing about the guitar controllers is that they are touchy & when you really get into the game, it's easy to pull the neck a bit. From the 2 wireless controllers I have, I have found that when you do this, it loses connection until you unhook them from each other & re-snap them back; then re-sync it. Just be sure to watch how hard you're pulling on the neck of the guitar. If that's not the case, then you may simply have a bad connection in your guitar.

Guitar hero wireless guitar with PS2, guitar sync light seems to flash normally, but the receiver on the PS2 seems completly dead, can we change just the receiver part ?

Yes you can change just the receiver. There isn't anything wrong with your guitar so just change the receiver. The wireless guitars work with any other PS2 wireless guitar hero guitar receivers.

Guitar not connecting

Try turning off your guitar and pushing and holding the button on the receiver in for 5 to 10 secs. Turn on guitar and they should be sync'd. If that doesn't work, turn off PS2 disconnect from power supply for a minute or so, plug everything back in and sync the receiver and the guitar again.
