Because your refrigerator has dual evaporators you can start by defrosting. Yes the old time defrost. Once the ice is gone on the refrigerator side lets try slowly adjusting the fresh food sections to temps acceptable to the foods safe temperatures. I will send you the service manual but if a sensor has malfunctioned you may need to call or order parts. Sea Breeze

Do you have a thin layer of ice in bottom of freezer? If so, its a clogged drain - drain located "behind" back wall in "freezer" side (bottom).
If not, may be a broken or leaky water line or water valve - best serviced by an appliance repair technician... GL

Need to replace my ZISB42DCA should I go with latest Monogram or a comparable Profile or switch to Kitchenaide. We have had a lot of problems with this one but it came with the house.

I have a 42" GE monogram refrig: ZISB420DMC. Water dispenser has had all kinds of problems and I've already had it fixed once. Same for ice dispenser. I just get ice directly out of the bin rather than have it dispense ice. This refrig also doesn't seem to have very much storage space. I can't even put a large pot in the refrig because of that silly light in the back of the refrigerator. I don't like GE refrigerators anymore. I've seen friends and family buy the Samsung refrigerators. They are really nice and I would get a Samsung. Here in Hawaii, Lowes seemed to have the best prices on the Samsung refrigerators.

Water dispenser does not work

At the bottom of the freezer door ( remove the kick plate ) , there will be a water line . Follow this line , about 6 " to a connector . Push in on the white ring and pull out the line , at the same time . Activate the water dispensor pad and see if water flows from the line under the refrig . If it does , then the line in the door is frozen . Either raise the freezer temp for several days , so the line in the door will thaw , or , I have heard using an air tank will blow the ice out of the line in the door . If no water comes from the line under the refrig , while activating the pad , then replace the water valve , behind the refrig , the piece the wall water line connects to on the refrig .

My GE side by side ice maker quit making ice, no water sees to be entering the unit.what do i check for?

Pour 2 / 3 cup of water into the ice maker .
If it dumps the cubes , but does not refill with water , replace the dual water valve behind the refrig . This is the piece , the wall water line connects to , on the refrig .
If it does not dump the cubes , replace the ice maker .

I have cold water but the ice maker is not working, there is no water in the ice maker

The refrig has 2 coils on 1 valve . 1 coil is for water dispensor and the other is for the ice maker . You need to replace the water valve behind the refrig . This is the piece that the wall water line connects to on the refrig .

Ice maker works slow

Usually , slow ice production , is caused by dirty condensor coils ( the coils under the front of the refrig , behind the kick plate ) . Only vacuum what you can see , no need to pull refrig out and all that . It does need to be 3 " from the wall though .

Small amount of water leaks from the front of my Samsung R2630SH.

I found out that there is a plastic panel that cools three draws inside the refrigerator. Behind the plastic panel there is an evaporator (coolant childer) that catches the condensation of repeatedly opening and closing the refrigerator door that turns into thick ice. Because of condensation, ice buildup in such a way that the ice pushes the middle draw out causing the door to open. In turn depending on how long the door stays open, melts the ice and the water leaks under the bottom draw out on either side of the front refrigerator door. Also, there is a drain plug that is also iced closed. To solve that problems, the unplug the refrig, put towel under the refrig, removed the panel (unplugging the wires and removing screws) and took a hair blow dryer to melt the ice. Oh, by the way, I used to blow dryer to melt the ice from the panel before I could remove the panel. That job took all day. I removed all the ice and reassembled the panel and replace the drawers. To my amazing, no more leaks and the water dispenser worked for two days and quit. I believed the water tank (plastic container in front of the panel has frooze again. By the way the ice maker did not work after removing the ice.

GE French Door 22 cu ft (PFSW2MIXSS). Loud buzzing from behind the freezer. Ceased cooling.

The model number you post appears to be incorrect.
The buzzing was from the evaporator fan blade hitting on some ice build up. Getting to it on a bottom freezer refrig is a bit of a pain in the back side. If your model has a pull out freezer drawer, that has to be removed, the icemaker removed, one side of the drawer supports from the freezer wall, all to allow you to remove the back wall of the freezer to get to the fan. You may be able to just thaw out the fan and surrounding area then which will get your refrig cooling again, if the ice was just around the fan area. On the pain in the but repair scale of 1 - 10, this one rates at least a 7.

Freezer/water not coming out

An Ice/thick frost build up on the back wall of the freezer if a side by side .The tank will be behind the crisper drawers you will see it frozen block of ice verses water in it you can tap it to see if the water moves.. Your water inlet valve on the disp. side maybe bad as well. Is the refrig section cooling ok??
