No, A GPS only has a receiver. It does not have a transmitter that can be used for locating. If you know your Nuvi's serial number and User ID number, you might want to report it to Garmin as well as your local Police. If the unit is ever turned into Garmin for repair, they will notify the authorities and you will get it back.

sadly, no. garmin and most GPS devices are strictly GPS receivers, meaning they do not output any kind of signal that can be tracked. If your device has been stolen, i recommend that you register your device if it is not already registered with Garmin.
