Question about Washing Machines
Hi, Remove the two screws in the lower front panel. Insert a flat blade screw driver into the gap between the top and front panel. There are two spring clips holding the top to the front panel. Once the top is raised, the front panel will push down and release.
The lid switch is located in the upper right hand corner attached to the side panel.

Based off what you have described you would like to bypass the lid switch on your Frigidaire washer. It is not recommended to bypass this part. Doing so could lead to a fault within your washer. I hope this information is helpful. -Matt
