Hi Chris2483,

I have come across this before. It is the water inlet valves. Replace these and your all set.

Hi there it will most definately be the pump, if you look under the machine or in the hatch, you will see on the right hand side the pump, spray some CRC or WD40 on it, it will be awesome after that :)

Squealing sound on spin cycle.........

Turn power off AT THE WALL,under the wash bowl Spray some wd40 on to the pump at both ends, while this may stop it for a while. Your pump may well be on its way out. you should replace for a new one. bad pumps can cause more problems problems .

I had the same problem. After bailing out the water, I tipped the machine and saw a knee high panty hose caught up in the fan on the bottom. I removed that, checked to make sure the fan could spin freely, and viola! problem solved!

Fisher Paykel gwl11 washer leaking and squealing

Set the machine on its side and started taking it apart til the problem was obvious. Called Fisher for the parts. A big black seal is out and a bearing above the impellor that cools the motor, we ordered a pump assembly that is on the bottom side of the motor. I am still going to replace the water pump in the drain side, that is a no brainer. Will update on the repair when the parts arrive

When filling with the side fill pump makes loud screeching noise

Hi Tom. if the noise is a loud SCREECH that almost sounds like a wounded bird, you need to replace the water pump. The part is easy to replace with no tools and you can get one from Fisher Paykel Parts:
