GE Model 2-9315A

I have an older model speaker, corded phone that has a high-pitched noise when using the handset and the speaker does not work at all. I have replaced the batteries and still does not work. Can it be repaired?

Your speaker phone may just be hearing the sound of its own speaker and suffering from what is called "feedback" This can cause squeals or if severe enough, can cause the speaker to shut off. If the speaker is switched on, turn it off and see if this stops the problem. If you need to use the speaker feature, try setting the volume control to a lower value, also, if there is a "receiver" adjustment, change the setting to medium or low.

I have a GE cord and cordless speaker model: 26955-GE 900mhz phone which i have had for eight year and I would like to add another cordless phone which GE phone is compatible to what I'm currently using....

If you mean you'd like to add another handset to the base unit on this phone, I'm afraid you can't. This isn't a multi-handset phone and isn't expandable. If you want the kind of system that has the main base unit and several separate handsets, you'll have to start fresh with a new system. They aren't expensive.

Loud feedback when All-Page. Lower speaker volume does not fix.

We have the same phones in our office. The feedback happens with our phones if the handset is left on the base. Picking up the handset and speaking through it as if your are on a phone call during the page should solve the problem of the feedback. If not, you may want to look at your P.A. system settings.

Need to lengthen handset cord for wall phone

You should be able to get an RJ-45 coupler for the cord. It may be a little awkward but should work. Try:

Radio Shack
Frys Electronics
Best Buy
Your local hardware store
