My company just sent me a dell bluetooth wireless keyboard and mouse. I am clueless on how to get them funtional. Do I download a driver off the Dell site? Am I missing something that should go in a usb port? Any help is appreciated.
I just changed the batteries in my Dell wireless KB and Wireless mouse. The bluetooth USB adapter is plugged nsnd everything works fine for a few minutes. I can log in, but as soon as the home screen loads the mouse and KB stop working. I get a Dell wireless connection screen, but I'm unable to move the mouse to click on the appropriate links. Any idea what could be wrong?
First you need to find out if your PC has a bluetooth receiver. Click Start/ControlPanel and see if there's a bluetooth Devices icon. If there is click on it then click add follow the instructions in the wizard to connect your keyboard and mouse.
If there isn't one you'll need to purchase a bluetooth usb dongle (about £5- £10
Most Bluetooth keyboards and mice are just Plug-n-Play and does not require any driver installation. You need to isolate the problem, please follow the steps below:
1. Make sure that the wireless adapter of your wireless KB and mouse is properly connected to the USB port of the computer.
2. Make sure that the USB ports of your computer are working.
3. Use fresh batteries for the KB and mouse.
4. After connecting the wireless dongle to the computer, turn on your KB and mouse (there should be an ON/OFF switch underneath).
5. Briefly press the connect button on the wireless dongle and then hold down the connect button underneath the mouse for five seconds and then release it.

our mouse is jumping all over the place. Have removed the ball, cleaned, new batteries, etc. What else can we do. If there is nothing else, how can we keep our wireless keyboard connected but use a regular mouse? Have tried to unplug just mouse from our computer and plug-in a wired mouse, but it still only reads the wireless mouse.
