usualy the ink failur happens when the ink cartrage is the wrong one or if you try to fill it yourself.
some printeer does not "like" the cartrage to be filled again, and evry one has it own "trick" to overcome the the failur after refilling the catrrage.
Lexmarks cartirdges not like to be refilled they not work the chip on the inks will still say emty after you refill them.
If you want to try to fill them.
All printer are the same ways to refill the inks up go to this website it will show you how it done there is a few Videos there for you to see how it done
you do not have to take the whole printer to the shop to fill the ink cartrage if you have the manuel to the printer it should tell you how to remove the ink cartrage and replace it with a new one and also they may have a refill kit at one of your local computer stores or where they sell ink and they should be able to tell you how to get the ink cartrage out to replace it
The printer working does not depend on
its cartrage... Cartrage is just like ink in
ur pen... If the nib of ur pen breaks
then u cant blame on ink... Check
whether the gare of ur printer moves if
its nt then there is some problem in
gare shifting ic or the rotator machine
check it by giving it to some computer
without make or model number, cant do anything. Check to see if there is a chip somewhere on the ink cartridge. If so...your screwed. Some printer have a 'is this a new cartridge', follow the instructions.
When you put in a "new" cartrage the printer sens an electrical charge to the cartrage to set it up properly. So I would treat this as a new cartrage, rather than a refilled one. Go to the printer menu and re install the ink cartrage in question, it should recognise it and start the function as a new one, good luck
The chip that is located on the cartridge has to be reset also. You can take it to a ink cartridge replacement store. They will reset the chip when they refill the ink, however, Epson doesn't recommend this of course. It is cheaper this way.
