I found six recalls that are listed for a 2005 Chevy Tahoe. The six recalls are: Recall ID# 41352 (trans-), ID# 47203 (front air-bags), ID# 75648 (wheels), ID# 55650 (service brakes), ID# 56239 (seat belt, rear), and ID# 59682 (fuel system, gas) You will need to contact your local Chevy Dealership and speak to a representative in the Service Department. Have your VIN# ready before you call. Explain to them that you want to know if they show any active Recalls for your vehicle. They will acknowledge if any of them pertain to your specific SUV. Please know that even thought I found six recalls for a 2005 Chevy Tahoe, that doesn't me they apply to your vehicle.
As these are two different motors with different type control systems involved, did you mean that you installed a replacement motor that was remanufactured or purchased new in 2005?
