Question about Dell Dimension 2400 PC Desktop
I have a dell dimension 2400 computer. Back when I bought it from a rent to orwn store they gave me a 3 1/2 floppy disk called area 51 and was told it would redo my computer to its factory state when i needed it to. Well now im trying to and the disk doesnt work or the floppy disk drive is broke. But my question is, is there another way to do it without the floppy disk? I went to dell website and all they could tell me was to reboot and on the dell flash screen press ctrl and f11, i did and it doesnt do anything either. Thanks for any help.
Typically you don't need to press ctrl at all -- usually f11 does the trick -- or going into accessories and system tools and looking for factory restore or something similar, the program has different names depending on the manufacturer. System Restore will only bring it back to a previous date...
