My son fixed this problem with our DX302 dishwasher only this morning. Now works fine and hot. Found the solution on this site posted 11 august 2008 from dishwasher dishlex dx302wb no hot water. There are photos to help you. Take out the circuit board in the top of door and resolder the points on left hand side of green board there are 2 long solders and a half moon. The problem is at the top of the 2 long solder lines. Do not replace your element. There is a fault with the circuit boards on this model 302. I want to thank all the posters for helping me fix my no hot water problem.

Just fixed our problem with DX403 and its working HOT, thanks for the great solution. My husband had to resolder it twice before it worked, and so far so good.

the problem is not enough solder on the joints for the relay, if there is future problems i will add a solid state relay somewhere inside the control panel away from the pcb and wire it to the trigger connections on the board, i also located other "dry joints" on the pcb, i think the soldered joints for the relay will go again because of the relay's mass not being supported on the pcb other than the soldered joints, a remote ssrelay would cure it permanently

I found a break on a solder line on the back of the control panel circuit board. It is easy to see as there is a burnt spot where the solder is meant to be. I simply resoldered the line, washer now heats and washes as before!

We had soldered that joint but still no hot water.
Any ideas. The element reads 27 ohms so i assume that it is fine.

Dishlex Global Unable to remove heater element retaining screw

I have a simialar problem with the Dishlex 450 Global model, after searching for the heating element on line, I found a picture of the element (450 model), showing that the Stainless Steel screw is actually spot welded to the element bracket, hence you should be able to remove it by accessing a retaining nut from underneath the dishwasher....(turn power off first!)..

The dishlex 302SB is not producing hot water for the washing

I have a Dishlex 302 which had this fault. Initially I thought it was the inline heater element and replaced it. It seemed to work but later no hot water again. Someone here put me on to the problem. There is a dry joint in the control board in the top of the door. This controls the relay which powers up the heater. Unplug it from the mains (very important) and undo the screws around the top of the door (don't take the door right off!) you will be able to wiggle off the front panel containing the electronics. The control board is ealiy disconnected an removed from the machine in its protective plastic cover. Have a look around the PCB and you will see the dry joint. Resolder with rosin core (electronic) solder, reassemble and you should have hot water.

Vulcan dishlex 750 eco taking alot longer to complete wash cycle.

How is the water flow into the machine. Are all your inline filters clean?

If your water level is below the heating element that is normal after a wash. Some unit the water will not always drain (relates normally to low water pressure or hose length or height)

If your water level is below the heating element and your dishes ALWAYS clean then its fine, the water drains out before a new wash so you are not using the same water

if water is above heating element, run garbage disposal to clear lines if one is installed, if not you could have a clogged line/hose/sump/filter

Dishlex dx 302 heat drying

Found I had no hot water in my Dishlex DX302 and did a google search and found this page.

My problem was found to be the same as the others; one of the solder joints on the relay on the control board had arced off.
You could see the burn mark on the board and cover where it had been arcing.

Soldered it back together, and now it seems to be going good again.
Now my only problem is a damaged door seal, which means a small water leak; I have used part of a rubber glove to bridge the gap, and it reduces the water leak.
