Hi, If the ignitor glows and then shuts off before the gas ignites, you will need to change the coils on to of gas valve.
I hope this helps you.
Please let me know if I can assist you further.

Unplug the dryer before installing the thermal fuse. Wear work gloves to protect your hands during this repair.

Why doest gas dryer get hot ?

There are a few reasons why your dryer may not be getting hot. A bad thermal fuse, a bad ignighter, or a bad flame sensor. Least likely would be a bad gas valve.

Change the thermal fuse inside iron that's why not getting hot. thermal fuse blown up due to overheat inside

An iron should be calibrated to 410 degrees on wool setting to get the other settings to work correctly.

Gas dryer runs but no heat. Wondering if an ignighter is to blame and how to check that

Hi,
When the dryer won't heat it is the thermostat/thermal fuse that is bad, you can test it with a voltmeter before replacing. This fuse is located inside the rear panel and it cannot be reset.
Hope this will help....

My dryer does not heat up . I alredy replaced the ignighter

Take a look and see if the glow coil comes on. If not, take the back off the dryer, and you will see a part about an inch and a half long, by a half inch wide, and it is white in color. That is the thermal fuse. Make sure the dryer is unplugged, and take the 2 wires off the thermal fuse, and put the terminal ends together, and put a little tape on it, so it does not hit metal, and then see if it works. If it does, DO NOT RUN the dryer that way. That thermal fuse is the only thing stopping that dryer from burning down the house. If it does not work it will be the flame sensor.

Dryer won't dry

It could be several other things thermal fuse, thermal cut out, hi limit thermostat, dryer coils, heat sensor. All of these parts are inexpensive and easy to test and replace. There is a video at http://appliancehelponline.com/gdryertroublevideo.html his will walk you thru the troubleshooting of these components. It may be a different model but the troubleshooting will be the same. You can also enter your model # for diagrams and illustrations. All parts come with installation instructions. Not all models are available. If you need help disassembling your machine there are videos of this also for most styles.

How to change the belt in the kenmore dryer model number 110.62822101. Dryer is not spinning so I would assume its the belt correct?

It is indeed a belt issue if the dryer blows hot air, which means the motor is running, but the drum does not turn. Otherwise, the thermal fuse (part number 3392519) mounted on the blower has failed. This thermal fuse is wired in series with the motor circuit and its failure results in the motor not running and the dryer not working at all.

Remove the dryer real panel to access the blower housing and check the continuity of the thermal fuse. Grab a volt-ohmmeter and set it to the R X 1 scale then disconnect one wire from the thermal fuse terminals then check the continuity of the thermal fuse. Replace the thermal fuse should it read open.

For Dryer Model LER7646EQ1, dryer runs but no heat, It could be the heating element, the thermal fuse or other. Also the dryer has been running hot.I do not know how to remove the front panel

This sounds like a faulty thermal fuse or heating element. The fact that you said the dryer has been running hot could indicate that the heating element was making contact with the heater box or the high limit thermostat is faulty. Both the thermal fuse and heating element can be tested using a multimeter or ohmmeter and checking for continuity. A lack of continuity means a faulty component. When necessary to replace a thermal fuse it is best to change the high limit thermostat as well. They will sometimes come as a set from a parts supplier. Really sorry for your trouble and I hope this helped. Best wishes.

Electric ignighter does not come on in the oven at all

In most cases it is the ignitor itself. Eledtricity goes thru the ignitor and as it gets hot it allows more electricity thru to the gas coils, allowing them to open and let the gas go thru. The ignitors do get weak and will glow but that is all. Not enough electricity can get to the gas valve solenoids and let gas thru. Find a local parts dealer and give them your make and model # to order the part.

Front load 4years old not hot

Attached to the lint trap housing are two devices. One is the thermostat, the other a thermal fuse. Check each for continuity. The igniter will not glow if either device has failed.
