My sony wega wont turn on and keeps flashing power light

Flashing of standby lights to Sony TVs are fault indications. Count the number of blinks occurs at one time after switch ON, and count it carefully. Check this link to know more about the blinking codes to Sony Brand TVs. You can get details there. You have't provided the number of blinks occurs here, so I can only guide you to this extent.

Cannot remove blinking red light on one of the extentions

Depends on what blinking light it is, but try feature and the button. If its the red led at the top of the phone, it is a voicemail. Could also be DND, try feature, 69, feature.
