Had same problem. I downloaded Prism video converter - free edition. It is
simple to use and it has converted everything I have wanted including
slideshows/movies I have made from my holiday photos.
Hope this helps

How do I convert and transfer music from my computer to my dmg ds140 mp3

Did you transfer MP3 files, i.e files with a .mp3 extension after the name, e.g. StarSpangledBanner.mp3 ? From the error messages you are getting, it looks to me that the files you transferred are not MP3 files. For example, when you press Play, one or more files are highlighted and the player tries to play the first (or the only one) highlighted, but it can't because it is in a format that is not supported, i.e. not MP3. When you click Music, the player starts looking for all the MP3 files that you have on the player or on an external memory card. It cannot find any, hence the 'empty disv/card' error message.

Converted Videos won't play on my Ematic E6 jr

I suggest you try this conversion program and if it works the uninstall the other conversion programs.
Check the specification of your MP3 player to determine the type of video file format it uses. Most common video files that MP3 players use are, AVI and WMV, there may be others such as FLV, MOV and DivX. If your player cannot play a video then it is an incompatible video file format, then you need to convert that video file to a format that your MP3 player uses. After video conversion then copy the video files to your MP3 player using the USB cable from your computer. Philips GoGear SA6045 need video support

All support for SA6045:
http://www.p4c.philips.com/cgi-bin/dcbint/cpindex.pl?ctn=SA6045/02&slg=en&scy=GB

Media converter software should be used to make the video files
appropriate before transferring them to the player.
The Media Converter Software zip file is under this link:
http://www.p4c.philips.com/files/s/sa6045_02/sa6045_02_mcs_eng.zip

Note:
First check the format of the video files that can be converted in the media software. Remember that not all videos can be
transferred, having copy rights sometimes.

Can not transfer wma,wmv

The exact description of that error message is: "The file could not be transferred because the device clock is not set."; NS_E_DRM_LIC_NEEDS_DEVICE_CLOCK_SET

It is related to a DRM license that is on the videos that you are trying to transfer - either the video you are trying to transfer has a DRM license that does not have transfer rights, or does not allow reencoding.

Basically, the video you are trying to convert is copyright-protected, so you will not be able to use it on a GoGear, only because the GoGear's require re-encoding first. Sorry.

The only solution is illegal - you would have to use a DRM-Stripper such as Tunebite to remove the license from the video. I would not recommend it.

Philips GoGear SA3345 (4GB) Media Converter 2.5 to converter ERROR

Disable Auto-Sync in Windows Media Player 11 – go to Microsoft's website for pictorial demonstration

Major Symptom: The Mp3 player is adding songs that I don’t want onto the player

Major Solution:
Open Windows Media Player WITH the mp3 player connected
Move the mouse cursor over to the Sync tab
Click on the tiny black arrow underneath the word “Sync” to bring down a drop-down menu
Select Set Up Sync (this option will not appear if your mp3 player is not connected to the computer)
Uncheck box that says "automatically sync files to device"
Click OK to finish

Voila! You are now set up for manual sync instead of auto-sync.
