I am assuming you mean the fan inside the fridg. Yes you can fix it yourself if you have some basic mechanical ability and some hand tools. Often this fan can be removed and lubricated for at least a temporary repair. Most appliance parts stores sell this item as a fits all or direct replace. If you can get the direct replacement its a much easier fix. Be careful removing plastic panels though they break easy.

sounds like the bearings are bad in the motors. It would be cheaper to replace unit than fixing it. new fans/motors would cost more.

My Haier dehumidifier is really noisy. If we turn it off and restart it, it will run quietly for maybe 4 minutes and then start getting really noisy again. Any ideas what is causing it and what I can do...

Hi,

With the unit unplugged, open the cover and check the alignment of the fan. If the fan is stuck or rubbing against the fan cowling, adjust the fan motor's mounting hardware so that the fan turns freely.

Take care.

Candy oven noisy fan

Noisy fan means bushes are worn. cant be repaired. needs replacement. Quote model of oven to spare parts supplier and replace. Make sure power is unplugged and not just switched off before repairs are done.

Noisy fan

You can try to fix it by oiling the fan but they dont last really long.
The best thing is to replace it,its not to expensive to buy and you can do it your self.
