V-8 engine firing order is: 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2

4.3 liter V-6 firiing order is: 1-6-5-4-3-2

the ignition module may be bad as well

Look and see if it's damaged

1993 GMC C 1500 P/U 4.3 liter V-6 VIN "Z"
