Question about Maytag MZD2766GES Side by Side Refrigerator
I have a maytag side by side and its making way too much frost. I take about a snowballs worth off every 90 minutes. Its so much its chocking the machine out. Temps rise cause of it. Ive repeatedly used a hairdryer to defrost and it comes back overnight and machine rises in temp again. Condensor in the back runs. It cools when cleaned off. Just refuses to stay cleaned off. I have water running to it for the ice machine and have even turned the water off. Where is all the moisture coming from. Appreciate any help.
This seems to be a common problem with these refrigerators. I had the same problem a while back. Sounds like your defrost board is dead. part number is 12002104. You can find it at searspartsdirect.com

Tips for a great answer:
Unfortunately if this is what you see with evaporator
exposed you will be better off shopping for a new replacement refrigerator
because the cost to repair is just not worth the expense to have someone repair
your refrigerator. If you have questions please ask, Thanks Sea Breeze
