Do your PC support the above hardware requirements?
The most common input no support would be your graphic card is not up to the mark to play the PC games.

Have you updated your DirectX to the latest version?

Hope it helps.

I have a ati mobility radeon 9000. i have a real hard time playing pc games simple hiddin objects games, always says uncompatible does my video driver need to be updated and can i do it for free

Try looking on your laptops support page for the latest drivers.
Have you installed these games? what are the min specs it requires?
Are they online games? do you have an up to date install of flash?
Do you have the min memory installed to play the games?
Your graphics chip should be more than capable of playing basic games, it sounds like a driver problem

I have a dell gx240 with a ati rage 16 mb agp

Um a ati rage 128 pro is not a very powerful card, and after win 98 there isn't any support for direct3d or opengl. So you will need to upgrade to a better card if you expect to play games.

My medal of honor game wont work in my laptop!

The game has its own compatibility :

RECOMMENDED SYSTEM CONFIGURATION:
Windows 2000/XP
Procesador P IV 3GHz/AMD Athlon 3000+ (3GHz for Celeron)
1 GB RAM
Video card: GeForce 6800/ATI Radeon X800
Sound card DX 9 compatible
700 MB of free space on hard drive
DirectX 9.0c

Please note that video cards that do not support hardware pixel shaders version 2.0 or better do not fully meet the game's minimum spec and will therefore suffer performance issues.
The Game was not tested with onboard graphics cards, including laptops.
Supported video cards at time of release: nVidia GeForce 6600, 6800, 7600, 7800, 7900, ATI Radeon: 9800, X800, X1300, X1600, X1800. X1900

if your system specifications cannot met the games requirements, sorry to say this but you cannot play the game.

I have 256 mb intel 82945g express chipset but it does support many games because its pixel shadder and vertex shadder is low......suggest some measure

Change it. It is an on-board card, so it won't play great. It is attached to your motherboard. Intel is not a professional for GPUs. If it is a laptop, sorry, you will need to change the motherboard to get a new standalone GPU into it.
For a desktop, you may already have a PCI or PCI Express slot ready in the CPU. Just attach the card there, and forget the old one.
