Question about Home

1 Answer

I need a manual, the machine behaves as if it's disconnected from electric power--no led's, no sound, nothing. The receptacle has power, I've verified by plugging a lamp in to the same socket. Is there a built-in fuse somewhere?

There's several things that could be wrong. What I would do would be to try to run it off the battery, and if it works, then there is a problem either with your power cord, the power cord connection, or the power module inside the machine itself. Try completely turning off the system. Unplug it, figure out a way to let the battery be disconnected, turned off, or just simply let it die. Then re-boot the device and see if there's a change in operability. If there is, or isn't, you should consult the owners manual, and see what you can find on the issues your having. If all else fails, have a technician stop by and work on it.

20 minutes worked then it just went black

Not a Solution but may help! Honestly more info is needed so We can narrow your problem down. Lets start with this. Note I havent looked up the manual for your model but This should help. Mostly Standard. Like traffic lights.

First, Locate your power Led, Note Color of Led. Red?(off) Green/Blue (on)Yellow (Standby). If you have a manual handy the Troubleshooting section describes these and what they mean.

1) If no power led is lit then, its either your power receptacle,(highly unlikely) fuse on power supply or power supply. Needs service.
2) If there is a power light. Note the color and if the led changes color or blinks after you hit the power button. ALSO,
B) Does the screen stay black, does it flash. or nothing happens? Note any changes in the led power light color and note it down.
If there is power and you still have no light, could be any of your boards. But we need to first verify power.

Hope this helps. Will

TV no longer power's on. What problem is causing this condition?

If the TV AND the DVD player are not powering on, then it sounds like the problem is at the receptacle or power strip, where the TV and the DVD player are plugged in. Make sure the receptacle or power strip is working. Plug something else in, a lamp, a radio, anything, and see if it works. If it doesn't then the power strip is off or not working or the wall receptacle is not working.

LG 17LX1R flashing red LED - TV won't power up

Try changing the input device to something you are sure, works such as a DVD player.

Switch off TV manually, switch off power, remove plug and retry after 48 hours.

If problem persists, please refer it to a qualified service technician.

After battery is discharge because power failure, ups is not automatically working even there is power supply

Check on the back of the UPS to see if the input circuit breaker has tripped. Are you getting any lights on the front LED's? Also disconnect all loads and ensure nothing is plugged into the output receptacles. Also open UPS up and ensure the input fuse is not blown. You will need a meter to check this out.

Assuming the behavior is instantaneous and doesn't wait for thermal change, you have a nasty ground loop problem that is coupling into the amps. Make sure ALL the speaker leads use TWISTED pairs, not the flat zip cord type wires. Make sure ALL the audio cables to these from the mixer are BALANCED using either XLR or TRS cables and not plain unbalanced cables like guitar cables.
Make sure the receptacle these amps are plugged into have grounding pins. Here is the biggee: Make sure ALL interconnectd equipment is powered from the SAME receptacle or POWER conditioning module. Using several building receptacles to power the amps and the mixer and any CD players is a NO-NO and is asking for the problem you are seeing. I can't go into the electrical engineering reason for this other than to say multiple feeds have resistance and inductance between them causing "ground bounce" that cross couples in systems like this. With this much power you should be using a large power conditioner and distribution unit at your venue. The pro's run power from a stage with the amps back to the mixer alongside the snake as an example.
Fix any/all of these problems you might have and if you still have trouble get back to me as these problems are a specialty of mine.

Sounds like the Power Supply is bad likes its not able to power on itself. Best thing to do, try a different known good power supply and attach it to the motherboard, if you get the same symptom with the machine not powering on then its a bad motherboard. If the machine does power on then you know your original power supply is bad.

Treadmill trips electrics

Check to see that the treadmill does not draw more amp than stated in the owners manual. If you are, then the problem is in treadmill. If not try another circuit in the house (not just another receptacle).

Sounds like you have a need for a circuit board. First, disconnect power for a few minutes and re-power. If that doesn't fix it, get a new board. Turn off power before working on your unit.
