Question about Toshiba Satellite A55-S306 Notebook
College daughter took this laptop away with her to college, downloaded music, ect and ended up with like over 200+ malware, virus and other unsavory hitchhikers. Have cleaned all that up with multipal programs. Now the system just wont run. She did NOT make a recovery disk when she first got the machine and dosnt have anything that came with it out of the box.
Is my best bet to buy a recovery disk? another recovery method?
Thanks in advance for any assistance you may have,
Yes your best option is to buy the recovery software. It is cheaper than buying a copy of windows and then having to find all the drivers again. Before you do that just make sure when you start it up you do not get a recovery option because some laptops have the recovery information stored on a seperate section of the hard drive.
