ASKO Washing Machine WM220(ASKO 20605)-Control Panel

Dear Sir,

I possess an 10 years old Asko Washing Machine and now it does not have power on the Control Panel. One element on the control panel marked IS 2 is burnt out and nobody from ASKO does not want to tell me what it is. It has three pins and looks as high voltage transistor or MOSFAT or Triac or maybe a voltage regulator. It had exploded and front side is missing so I could not read it.
Please, could you advice me what is that element and what could be the reason it had exploded.

Thank you and best regards,

IS 2 looks like a MOSFET on my machine
I'm not sure on the Manufacturer - Their logo appears to be a large streaked "I"
The numbers on my mosfet read:-
H542
TOP200YAI (this last digit could also be a 1)
PC0288

Cheers from a fellow busted ASKO consumer.. :(
Mine appears to be motor or motor controller related, so if you don't fix yours, I'd be happy to take a few parts off your hands. ;)

Here is a picture of the component in my IS2 slot. It certainly looks like a MOSFET.

HI our 10 year old front loading machine has stopped through a cycle and we cant get it spinning or pumping and cant open door to get out washing. Any advice? Thankyou Keith kamca@tpg.com.au

Hello,

Welcome to FixYa.

There is typically a drain filter in the pump as well as a door lock release on Asko built machines, but I'd need a model number to be specific to your machine.

This is the typical procedure for machines of the past 10yrs. or so...

Hopefully this will help. if yours is different I'll have to wait for your reply with a model number before we can proceed.

Macmarkus :)

Asko 10625 will not spin

it is probably the belt, take off the back of the machine and look at the black rubber belt that spins the cleaning drum. The belts break after about 5 years, you can get a replacement belt at you local Asko dealer, I recall that is was pretty easy to change, like doing a bike chain, Talk to you Asko dealer about how to change it.

ASKO 1605

Hi Guys
My dishwasher this morning has desided to not work correctly.
Its a ASKO 1302 about 20 years old. It has been a very good machine.
Over the last couple of weeks during the washing cycle, the dishwasher has been making a loader noise than usual.
1. Today, the dishwasher timer, travels all the way through its cycle, but very little washing take place.
2. Soap power is still there, plates not clean!!!!
3. Water is hot
4. At the end of the cycle, there is no water in the dishwasher.
5. I'm thinking the problem could be the pump needs replacing.
What do you think?

No reset. Carbon brushes are worrn out. Consider changing the bearings while you have the motor apart. Se http://www.nettoparts.co.uk/shop/frontpage.html for spares.
