Why doesn't the GPS pick up a current GPS signal?

You may need to do it outdoors; a building may interrupt enough satellite signal that it (the GPS) won't lock to it (the signal).

If it always says "GPS SIGNAL NOT DETECTED" when it's outdoors, I don't think you're going to get it to ever work. It may have been dropped & the internal antenna damaged.

I am trouble shooting a Bryant Hi-bred system that uses an air cooled heat pump with high efficiency gas furnace for backup and low ambient operation. How does the system decide whether to use the air...

Your t-stat should be set up so that the furnace is the second stage heat and also emergency heat. First stage (heat Pump comes on) sometimes they use Time to start 2nd stage, sometimes they use outdoor temp and this all bepends how bryant has set it up, without a model # I cannot tell you but send it and i will look in somebooks i have to tell you.

I am replacing a four year old Bryant thermostat (7 wire) that runs a Bryant heat pump and gas furnace. I connected the Honeywell EIM to the old wires using the same colort codes: W = W (o/b); Orange =...

Well you are naming 6 colors, where is 7?? I'm guessing you don't have a constant 24 going to the heat pump and there is no transformer outside. Send model number of indoor and outdoor, double check your wiring, double check your setup.

My intertherm electric furnace in mobile home will not come on. could it be the seqencer

yep,could be,if fan is on.if nothing is comeing on,it is probbaly the low voltage.buuuuut first things could get a big shock checking there 220 getting to furnace?.is there 24 volts at transformer secondary?I check to see if coils are open first because you can do this with power signal from thurmostat ok? I went on a call recently where they just needed new battery in thurmostat.good luck and don't get electrocuted.

What is the seer rating and tonnage of a bryant model fb4anf030

The Tonnage appears to be 2 1/2 ton,
024=24,000 BTU=2ton
030=30,000 BTU=2 1/2ton
036=36,000 BTU= 3ton

I dont think you have the correct Model Number, Look
on the outdoor unit, the model number might start with a 38. Hint Carrier and Bryant Products are the Same, just different nametag

The outdoor fan on my central a/c is suddenly making a lot of noise. I have a Bryant - model #697CNO36. Thanks

Depending on the age and usage of the motor. And whether or not the motor is an oil-free motor or not will help to determine the problem.

Most times, a loud noise coming from a motor itself is contributed to the bearings going bad in the motor. This can be cause by lack of maintenance, blades out of balance, or the blade too far down the shaft and creating unusual wear on the motor.

You will most likely need to replace the motor and run capacitor in order to get rid of the noise. But only finding out how and why the noise started will allow you to prevent it from happening again.

What is the part number for the outdoor fan motor?

as old as this unit is you probably cannot read the label on the motor it is either a 1/4 or 1/3 horse power 230 volt motor. a generic motor will work fine, use a 1/3 to be sure. also replace the capacitor so it matches the new motor. if you can read the label the part number is on it, should be an HK # with about 7 more digits

Bryant Legacy Line air conditioning not blowing cool air..

Your outdoor condenser is in heat mode. Check the wires on the thermostat. Sounds like a small wiring problem and nothing else. Good luck. Please keep me posted as to you progress.
