Hey Hi guys i have had my toshiba satellite for sometime now and one day while reinstalling windows after install i got no audio and the function and media keys dont work either. i have tried intalling the drivers from the toshiba website but no solution.. please help.... [email protected]

All you have to do is to install the sound/ Audio Drivers
Satellite M70-340 Sound Drivers WIN XP
Click the above link and download the Sound Drivers for Windows XP.
It is a zip file. Open the file and Install the required Drivers

Click on the Downloads tab and then choose windows xp as your operating system and you can download any of the drivers that you need from that point.

There is (All I'll list is for Vista), Realtek Audio Driver for Windows Vista (v6.0.1.5343; 01-30-2007; 15.18M)

HD version. Realtek HD Audio Driver for Windows Vista (v6.0.1.5343; 01-25-2007; 15.18M)
Before you re-install make sure you remove any other driver listed in add/remove programs.
