Question about Car Audio & Video
I own a 1996 pontiac sunfire and every time i put in a cd it will try to read it and then the display will say: ''E20'' and then the cd will eject.... can you help me?
My husband's 96 sunfire did the same thing as well. We tried everything to fix it, right down to opening it up and checking it. They just burn out over time. Unfortunately there's not much you can do, and to have it replaced by the dealer will cost more than your car is probably worth, being almost 14 years old. Do yourself a favor, go to your local walmart, you can pick up a decent CD player (with an mp3 player input, so no FM transmitter!) for about 50 bucks, and they are easy to install. It's the only thing that worked for us. Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance!
