Your phone has Start up failure problem. You have to flash your phone and then install new firmware of your phone. There is just software problem with your phone.

My n95 nokia all ok but White Screen , Please

You don't need a Nokia N95 diagram.
The white screen means that the ribbon cable that attaches your main phone circuit board and the screen has become damaged or come loose.

A good phone repair shop should be able to repair this for you.

Or if you are brave and don't mind taking a risk of damaging your handset further you can replace it yourself.

I hold no responsibilty for any damage you do to yourself or your handset though.

You can get a ribbon cable and tools to attempt a repair for around £10

My nokia n95 dispiay is not working

  1. solved the problem by removing both the data and SIM-card, placing back the battery and booting it. It did start up normally, and pretty fast by the way, after which I returned the SIM-card. Switch off and on and problem is solved. I didn't place back the datacard yet though
  2. I had the same problem as the first two with the startup going straight to the white screen with the nokia logo and then it would turn off and restart in a cycle, taking out the battery would not help. This was after having the phone for only 9 days... took it to the Nokia Care Centre, got them to reflash the phone's firmware and it was fixed. I suggest doing the same, it's a firmare corruption that is causing the startup hang. Hope this helps you... ! :)

N95 startup problem

do not consult a technicition i have had this problem and solved it for my friend, you were trying to update your n95 firmware using nokia software updater then it said please unplug and remove battery you should never touch a mobile during an update... anyway to fix it your n95 thinks its still in a middle of the update so charge your phone for 10 minutes (DONT TURN ON) then connect up to the computer via usb to your n95 then open up software updater and press start update it it says could not find deivce keep retrying it took me 20 minutes but could last up to 1 hour then it willl recognise the phone and continue update and turn itself back on only problem is that your phone will be reset but you still keep your memory card data
post back asap dale goodwin
