So I just got the Nextel/moto i530. One of the repeater vendors had some info on how to access test modes. On mine, you press # * Menu then Right Arrrow. They were interested in showing you the TX Status and RX Status screens, but of course now I'm wondering about all that other stuff. Does anybody have a lead on what all the goodies are in that secret menu system?
Face the back of the phone.
Remove the back cover.
Pull out the battery from the bottom.
The SIM card is mounted horizontally in the center behind the battery.
Take your thumbnail and slide the SIM card to the right until you can grab it with your fingers.
Replace it following the instructions in reverse.
Um... if your Phone doesn't use a SIM, then you cannot "put on in" as there is no SIM Slot. IF you do have a SIM Slot, usually close by, there is a little drawing showing the way it slides in, usually the angled corner goes out, and faces right, and the straight edge goes inwards, and it goes in FACE DOWN
Your phone may state that you need the "special unlock" code but there is no such thing. This issue is rarely solved by powercycling the phone. In many cases the cusomer will have to take the phone to the nearest service and repair center for an exchange.
