Have you checked the bios settings?
You'll have to do some diagnostic work to figure this one out, but the links here should help you through the process, especially here and maybe here or here. Also pertinent may be this alert., or these instructions. You can use your home support page here to research HP further, if you wish.
Check the cables first, and swap them out if you have replacements.
Also helpful will be this article, or this one.
If you've been changing hard drives and so forth, and you reinstalled windows, are you sure that the drivers for your video adapter are loaded into the system?

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.
If I've managed to answer your question or solve a problem, please take just a moment to rate this post....thanks!

Do you have the model number of that motor. Don't do anything till you get the information because that would be a catastrophe if you get it wrong

Insert sim

Hi have a repair shop, and you know it’s a very common problem on this model. 90% of the cases I found liquid damage in the phone damaging the Sim Ic, it’s a little square one near your sim reader, you can also clean around that with a soft tooth brush and mentholated sprits. Don’t fiddle with your sin contact/ reader if no damage visible to the eye.

Avic N2 Issue

Thats wierd that one of the pins are missing. Did you actually look yourself? I know there are also some halfazz ways to rewire the harness to get the dvd to work. Something about grounding the brake wire then rewiring the dvd output wire to the rear cam wire or something like that. I dont know. If the unit was refurbished by pioneer, they may have took out one of the jumpers. I believe those were originally available for foreign units so they could be easily converted. Good luck.

No video etc.

on the motherboard will be a JBAT1 terminal with the jumper across pins 1-2, so put jumper on pins 2-3, then back to pins 1-2. If not JBAT1, then it may be a 2 pin terminal called CLRCMOS, of which you put a jumper across the two pins for seconds then remove. Although, i can't think of a way to update the bios without seeing whats on the screen.
