470 Ohm 5W Resistor Wire Wound 5 Tolerance from www parts express com

The above link will give you a source on the 5 watt 470 Ohm resistor. I assume it is from a vehicle and probably adds a load to make turn signals function. Since LEDs use considerable less power then tungsten lamps additional load is added to make the older flashers work.

PV Delta Blues. Resistor R-58. What's the value and wattage?

It appears to be a 430 ohm 5 Watt FLAMEPROOF resistor... The resistance value could also be 470 ohms...

Here is link to a 430 ohm:

http://search.digikey.com/scripts/DkSearch/dksus.dll?Detail&name=PPC5W430TB-ND

Here is link to schematic, however the resistance value is blurred but starts with 4 and is three digits leaving only 430 or 470 as the value:

Low voltage only or can timer be used for 110 v

1 hp= 750 watts
125 vac = 125 volts alternating current, wall outlets
5 amp= 5amps

125vac x 5amps= 625 watts

a timer is a switch with a clock on it. just like a switch in a lamp cord.

Good Day, junop;
It could be one of these:

This model is equipped with a self-diagnosis feature to help with diagnosis of shutdown problems. To activate this turn the unit on let it shutdown then press the input and menu buttons on the front panel simultaneously and hold them in for 5 seconds after 5 seconds the power LED on the front panel will blink a two digit sequence. This will be one set of blinks a short pause then another set of blinks, this will repeat 5 times. 1 - 2 = no error detected 2 - 1 = X-ray protect (high voltage or beam current) 2 - 2 = Short protect (short protect monitors low voltage supplies) 2 - 3 = Deflection protect (this could be loss of vertical or horizontal deflection) 2 - 4 = Vertical protect (usually loss of vertical from the source) 1. SHUTDOWN AT POWER WITH SELF DIAGNOSIS ERROR 2 2. CHECK FOR LEAKY C9A60 470 PF 1000 V PART # 154P400030, PARALLEL TO D9A57 ON THE POWER PCB (NOT SHOWN IN THE SCHEMATIC). 2. SHUTDOWN AT POWER WITH SELF DIAGNOSIS ERROR 2 2. CHECK FOR OPEN FUSES F9A04 AND F9A05 PART # 283P043090 ON THE +24 AND -24 VOLT LINES. IF THE FUSES ARE OPEN THE CONVERGENCE OUTPUT CIRCUIT WOULD BE SUSPECT. 3. SELF-DIAGNOSIS INDICATES SHORT PROTECT. CHECK FOR A SHORTED IC4B01 PART # 270P261020 (VERTICAL OUTPUT) LOADING 24-VOLT SUPPLY LINE. LOCATED ON THE MAIN PCB. Good Luck, big IRISH. back.gif

Turns On then immediately turns itself off

Good Day y'all;
First I will tell you what the factory tells us then I will tell you what the problem may be: This model is equipped with a self-diagnosis feature to help with diagnosis of shutdown problems. This model is also known to get fluid on the boards. The fluids come the picture tubes, this helps projection TV's to keep cooler tubes, all companies use this method, but MIT has the biggest concern of the leakage.
Sorry, but hope this was helpful. These TV's can repaired, shields can be provided. Call an authorized service dealer to this repair.
Good Luck, big IRISH.
