Question about Whirlpool Duet GHW9150P Front Load Washer
About 2 weeks ago my duet washer started leaking all over the floor from the back of the washer..I am wondering what could be causing this.
Our 13-month old Whirlpool Duet just starting leaking from the back. I had a service technician out today and it turned out the drive belt was not installed properly at the factory (one groove too far to the back on the pulley). It wore through the belt and then part of the belt staring flapping around and hit the vent tube often enough to finally wear hole in it. The vent tube is to allow air movement through the drum and to prevent suffocation if a child got in it. The lower part has water in with the washer is filled. The tech had never seen this before. He's ordering parts while I start pressing Whirlpool to pay for the repair even though I'm a month beyond the warranty.

Sounds like you need to check your back drain could be the drain is clogged.Fill with water and see if it comes from the drain
