Hi
if the PC/laptop is part of a corporate roup then you'll have to take the assistence of the systems guys

but

if the PC/Laptop is self owned then please add the user account tht u r using to the administrators group and that should solve your problem

right click on my computer
select manage
expand local users and groups
select groups
on the right panel select right click on administrators
select add
in the box type ur user account and click on check names
once it is confirmed select ok and close the windows

now try installation again

hope it helped
cheers

PS: if it has helped you in any lil way pls rate it, thanks

It's simple; install on an administrator-level account. If you can't, ask the system administrator to do it for you.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

I am currently on a school computer. My SanDisk Cruzer 8gb would not run. I recently added a password on it and it has worked before. The U3 system would not auto-run and I have tried running it manually...

> currently on a school policy.

The school's Computer Systems Administrator may have installed a "Group Policy" setting that tells Windows to *NOT* allow USB-devices (iPod, iPad, flash-drives, external disk-drives) to be allowed to be used. It's a good way of preventing computer-viruses from getting onto the school's computers.

If your SanDisk works correctly on your own computer, then use your own computer.

When iam installing some softwares computer is saying ''the administator has set some policies to prevent this installation''

The message will appear on-screen when an end-user is trying to perform a task that has been set above their user level. The "Administrator" account is a default account created on all OS that grant the user unrestricted access to the entire OS, including the ability to restrict what other user accounts can do and/or have access to.
If you are not the one who setup the system (and configured the settings) initially, then you will need to see that person in order to get the necessary rights to accomplish the task(s) you are trying to do.
Only his/her account has access to modify your account and allow you to install software as per your description above.

I can not edit my account information.

Hi there, I would like to clarify If you are the administrator on the computer your trying to edit your account

If you are the administrator of the computer, and If your computer is part of a network at an organization such as a school, government agency, or a business, your organization's system administrator might have disabled or even removed certain settings by using Group Policy. Group Policy is a feature of Windows that lets system administrators manage users' access to Windows features. If you suspect that Group Policy is preventing you from changing a setting that you need to access, contact your system administrator.

OR

If your computer is not part of a network, a user with administrator privileges might have modified Group Policy on your computer to remove access to the settings. In this case, contact the users who are administrators on your computer to modify the settings you'd like to change.

Installation

Hello,
Thanks for the e-mail,
I tried the suggestions made by 'marked' but had no success. However, I have installed the latest version of Corel PainShop Pro (V.X2) which works OK and this has solved the problem.

Comus
