Hello again,

I accidentally posted to the wrong issue lol.

Have you tried disconnecting all cords to your TV including the power for a few minutes and then plug the power cord in only and seeing if you get a picture or can at least use the menu then?
If there a reset button if so try that to.

Are you using it as a computer monitor as well?

Let us know how it goes.

Put the tv on a channel where you have sound and shine a flashlight into the screen and see if there is any video on the screen, Its hard to see but if there is video the back light is not on to illuminate the panel. If this is the case possible inverter problem. Will need to be taken to repair shop. Inverter outputs a Very High Voltage.

Show picture but no sound. went to the menu button to look for the audio but not successful.

Your audio source needs to match the signal you are receiving. On the menu go to audio and then setup My source is set to HDMI (like my video). Within that selection you have the choice of analog, digital or auto. Auto should work for all signals. Analog will not give you sound if you have a digital signal (I found out by accident).

V ipod mode in Samsung HT-Z420 home theater system not working

Plug a yellow video cable into the TV (IN) and the Sound system (Out) then go onto AV1 on the TV or which ever port you plugged the cable into and play a movie and u can see it. A menu doesnt come up like the A ipod funtion so it comes up no signal until u play an actual movie on the ipod. If u dont have a yellow video cable i think u can use the white or red audio ones.

JVC LCD TV LT-42X688-powers on, blank screen. no picture,no sound

You most definately have bad capacitors in the power supply. try and get it repaired as soon as possible, not an expensive repair that iv'e seen.

Audio only, no picture

Audio without video is usally a vertical or horizontal deflection problem with the DPTV chassis and Mag 1 chassis which is what you have. You may need a new deflection Large signal board. If you would like a link to one of those boards let me know.

Scrambled picture

Which caps on which boards as that sounds like a issue with the signal and FMT PCB. The v26 chassis like yours has problems with bad caps on the DM, Signal, FMT and the PWB and terminal

CT-F683 TV fault

Press setup on your foxtel remote, go to systems settings, and look for "TV Type" menu, you can change settings there, your TV is a 4.3 (square) not widescreen. Its not a telly problem your just giving it the wrong signal.
