If your unit keeps filling with the power off, it is the water fill solenoid(s). If the machine overflows it is the float switch. Check out partselect.com and put in your model number. It will show a picture of the part and the price.

GE Select washer 0n spin cycle is not spinning all the water out of the clothes even on the extended spin setting. The belt appears to be tight. The softeners do not sling out of the agitator either. Not reaching the proper speed?
