Honda 2002 Magna with no Brake light or running lights. Replaced bad brake light bulb. Now I have brake light but no running light. Help

The taillight should be on at all times. The brakelight should come on when the front or rear brakes are applied. Start by disconnecting the front brake light switch then the rear to see which switch is broken. Also check the bulbs. I have seen them short out internally. The filament inside the bulb break and contacts the other circuit.

Did you just replace the bulb with the LED? If so, you probably got the wrong bulb. Make sure it is a 2 circuit bulb like an 1157 dual filament.

sounds like a poor ground issue, pull out the headlight and check all connections in there, your turn signals are on seperate feeds than the lights but they will probably share the same ground/earth in the headlight

Check the prones inside the connector that you plug into the brake light module. You may have to squeeze, wiggle, tilt each one to see which one is not connecting all that good. I know it may sound confusing. I tried to explain the best of I could.
