Make sure the hot water faucet is turned on and connected to the washer.
If so, you have a bad water valve on the washer that must be replaced.

Can you swap a hot inlet hose to the cold tap on fisher and paykel WA70T60GW1

Hoses are usually the same, but do you mean you want to put hot water into the machine through the cold inlet? A lot of water is used in rinse, and this would raise your hot-water heating bill a lot.

Candy A*AAA 1400 spin 7kg Machine turns on, water doesn't come into machine start of cycle except sounds as though it is going to. Emptied the filter at the bottom of machine lots of water nothing...

The valve through which water comes in2 the washer is opened electrically and it is the what-type-of-water-u want-2-use selector switch that controls the opening & closing. E.g if u select cold water it opens valve for cold water and closes valve for hot water. There is a place (most likely at the valves where pipes meet washer) where electrical connection e.g due 2rust, has been lost. Thus the valves r not being opened by the selector.

My Inglis washer machine (#111-07) which we bought 2 weeks ago, doesn't use any hot water when set to the warm cycle (in between cold and hot), so i can only wash with entirely cold or superhot water...

Hi Elllie602 (!) from retired Englishman in SW France,

2 weeks old? Under guarantee/warantee? Get in touch with the vendor/shop!!!
Even if it takes only cold water for the warm wash (which is a bit daft- normally washers mix the hot and cold accordingly) and heats it, that is not how most hot n' cold washers work.

If this has assisted and/or clarified the situation for you please consider a 4 thumbs up on our rating.
Thanks and good luck!

I have recently installed a washer in my shop. Only the cold water hose is hooked up since I only have cold water in the shop. I ran the first load and as it filled water is spraying out of the hot water...

First check that you have selected a cold water only cycle. Otherwise the cold water will backfeed through the hot water inlet. If that doesn't help or isn't possible, I suggest you buy a blank cap to screw over the hot water inlet. You should be able to get one from any plumbing store. Hope that helps.

Hot water pours out, cold water trickles. This just started happening this week. Is there a pump that forces the water to move or is the problem more likely the hose is plugged? or is there another...

The dual water inlet valve cold side is just stopped up with sediment. There is a screen filter in the water hose where it connects to the water supply. Cut the water off and unscrew the hose and look in the end of it for the cone shaped filter and clean it out. If that doesn't fix the problem you may have to clean or replace the inlet valve which is at the other end of the hose. The hot water doesn't usually have a problem because any sediment has a chance to settle out in the hot water tank.

Cold water doesn't get cold

Having same issue. Water cooler about a week old, in use in a small office with about 10 people and 2 5-gal water jugs consumed weekly.

The chiller for the cold water no longer works, and they display lights on the front and on/off switch in the back no longer light up. The hot water is working, I'm wondering if there is a potential recall issue with the unit.

Rinse water barely trickles out of my washer

Do you fill the machine with hot water only?

If so, this is what I suspect. The filters in the inlet hoses on the back of the washer need cleaning. Remove the garden hose connectors, remove filter, clean, replace.

When filling with hot only you get a lot of pressure thru one hose. When you rinse, the best you can do pressure-wise is cold rinse -- but the cold water filter is going to be more clogged than the hot so it delivers less water.

When you use warm rinse, you get mediium pressure thru both lines, again less water than al hot on filling the machine.
