Hp Compaq FS7600 17" monitor screen adjustment needed

Just purchased used unit. Works fine but screen position not centered. Too large of a margin on right side. Menu buttons will not respond. How do I correct this?

Um, lets see. Does any of the buttons work? Try and find a button that will switch settings back to factory default. If not go to control panel and change the screen resolution to see if that helps in the mean time.

I recently purchased a 19"

Your computer graphics, whether onboard or graphics card does not support this resolution.

I think it is a driver problem, click here to download and install the latest drivers.

Fill in the details and select search then download and install.
You may need to purchase a more powerful graphics card.

I have a compaq paserio notebook and when I boot up the computer, either I get a blank screen or I get a very faded image that I can't hardly see so I can't log on. Most of the time I just get a blank...

Have you checked the brightness options for the screen using the HP function keys? Fn +F7 or Fn+F8 should adjust the brightness of the screen for that C306 model laptop. If adjusting the brightness has no response then try the next steps.

What happens if you turn the computer off, plug it into an external monitor or projector, and then turn the computer back on? If the video displays correctly on a computer monitor or projector, but it stays dim on the LCD screen of the laptop, then the laptop LCD Screen Back-light or inverter is probably going out. You'll need to contact HP for a replacement part or take the laptop to a certified repair center.

Use the control panel in front of the monitor to adjust screen.

Here's the manual for your monitor:

This monitor series( HP Compaq WF1907) seem to have a inherent problem with the sleep mode control circuit. You should take this unit into the service center for repair. Hope this helps.

Why is there a small print on my screen

It sounds like the Monitor adjustment button is engaged or hanging is there anything leaning against the buttons say the back of the keyboard or something may have bumped it hard and caused it to sit funny. Esp. since you said you hit the exit. That display is for adjusting the monitor for size of image brightness contrast screen position. You may have the screen size set too large to get to the whole menu. Check the button issue first, someone once had some pop spray the screen and the dried sticky coke cause the button to stay partially down. Please unplug the monitor if you use any liquid to clean the button to avoid a short or shock.

Image is not positioned properly on the wide flat screen

Hi... generally the image adjustment and positioning controls will be located on the monitor itself. But iam not sure about this model because i dont have one.You can try the user manualfor further adjustments. Also try changing the refresh rates..i.e keep them the highest possible. Also if your notebook uses inbuilt nvidia graphics, then you will be presented with a system tray applet something like "nvidia display control"... You can change the positioning from there as it will have a interactive GUI.[graphical user interface].
