Hi
Either soap deposits or dirt was clogging the spray endings. Here is what to do to clean up the spray endings:

1. Remove the water container from the bottom unit
2. Look up for two red plastic endings on the bottom unit
3. Using your fingers to clip sides of an ending, carefully remove it from its slot
4. Using pliers, release the clamp from plastic ending and remove the red plastic ending from the hose
5. Clean the ending
6. Put the ending back on the hose, slide clamp back on the ending
7. Insert the ending back in its slot
8. Repeat 3-7 for the other ending.
OR
I have had the same problem on and off since I bought this cleaner. take it apart and find out the solution. I thought the solution was gravity feed but found out there are two small pumps, one for the bladder solution and the other for the chemical feed. I certainly could have designed a much simplier machine, but what bissell has done is used the vaccuum pressure to pull the solution into the pump in order to prime it. If for many reasons there isn't enough vaccuum pressure the pumps will not prime. What I did was put the tank on the machine without the top cover. I turned the machine on and reached up and held the trigger open with my other hand I put my palm over the vaccuum port for about 3 seconds and then allowed the air to flow back into the motor. I repeated this about 5 times until the pump primed I put the top lid on and locked it into place put it back onto the machine and it worked perfectly.

HOPE THIS WILL WORK

How do I get my carpet shampooer to spray wate

If your machine was designed to spray hot water, detergent cleaner or a combination of both, chances are the filter/strainer inside the reservoir may have become clogged, the feed tube may be twisted and pinched closed or the spray nozzle may be clogged from various contaminants. Try and get a look down inside the container where you fill it with fluids and see what you can determine, also check the spray tip or nozzle where the fluids are supposed to be expelled for a clog. If the small service pump is the culprit, servicing or replacing the pump will be a bit more involved and parts are available from most manufacturers websites these days. Hope this is helpful :)

If fluid drains out through the bottom of the machine, rather than through the brushes, you most likely have a leak in the quick disconnect valve. ( part # 43523004, msrp $4.99 ) This is the small valve that the end of the hose connector snaps on to. If this is the problem, it will also leak when doing normal rug shampooing. This is a somewhat common problem with this machine. The valve will need replacement.

Biseell little green machine wont squirt water out

The Pumps on these go bad after a couple of months. They rust and will sometimes spray and other times not then eventually not work at all. If your a handy man pull the top off it and remove the pump motor and replace it yourself. The part number is 603-5029 you can put this number in google shipping and get it to your door for about $15 and replace it yourself or have a friend do it. Ebay has tons of them once again just put in the part number and a list of them will come up.
Thanks and have a good one
Sincerely, CRTN

Won't spray

Ensure you have water in tank and solution (or water in solution tank). When you start the vacuum up, the pump starts to prime itself. If you have air in the system, it takes a little longer to prime. Allow the vacuum to run for 1 minute before attempting to pull the trigger. Then pull the trigger.
If this doesn't work, you'll need to open the unit up and check the hoses for any clogs, and next test the pump to see if it is functioning.

did you fill the bladder and not the outer tank.. rubber on bottom of tank still there.. releases fluid it you depress the x shape center..

hot water. prime from hose without a tool on it by holding the hose lower than the tank.. put in on a work bench.. hold spray trigger and turn on machine.... read my other posts as well

Hello,

I have a Bissell "Little Green" cleaning machine that acted like yours. I found several clogs in the fluid system. The power for the fluid in my unit is provided by a small AC motor independent from the vacuum motor attached to a small plastic pump. This pump then fed into the input of the heater. Inside the heater is a sort-of mirror-image, redundant labyrinth that the fluid passes through before it exits. My heater was completely blocked on both sides, and exhibited signs of corrosion. My choice was to disable the heater and to instead hook its output line straight to the pump. I also found clogs in the fluid line, particularly where there were bends. One of the clogs was where the vacuum and fluid line made a right angle turn out of the base of the machine. The other was in the trigger handle itself in a jog of the small line that connects the valve to the spray nozzle connector.

I would suggest examining the trigger handle first. The only thing to watch for is the position of a small flat metal spring with a square hole in the center that lives between the trigger and the valve (which is also sprung).

I made good use of some slightly smaller standard aquarium air line so I could blow water and air through without having to actually taste the internal lines of the machine.

My new resolution is to run clean water through the fluid system before putting it to bed!

I have a bissell power steamer That is not spraying soap, only water. I have checked all the filters and belts that I know of I also tried to reprime the pump as indicated in the trouble shooting section....

If it spraying water, then the pump is ok. The valve at the bottom of the soap bottle may be bad. Also when you turn the smart mix vavle, does it turn easily or hard, if hard, try spraying some furniture polish around the knob and turn it to work in in, if it turns all of the way around and doesn't stop where it is supposed to, then the knob or the top under the knob is broken.
