I have exactly the same problem and it started right around the time the "gracious" 90-day warranty period expired.....
The battery lights had been on for days, indicating a full charge, but nothing happens when turning the throttle. Battery housing is very cumbersome to open, but I'll try to disconnect the battery next.
Lead-acid batteries get PERMANENTLY
damaged when you drain them all the way. It would be better for the
batteries if you only used them half way and charge as soon as possible
after each and every run. They like to be kept fully charged at all
times.
Do this self test and youll get an idea where your at, can you jumpstart the car?? if you can do so. then remove either cable from the car battery its self, if it shuts off you have a bad alternator, if it doesnt then theres a bad/losse cable somewhere between your battery/starter and or losse ground from battery to to enigine block or chassis. i would start with check the alternator, then creep under or above and check for loose cables ar starter, grab the cables by hand and move them around. send me a feedback or let me know if you need more help.
Charge the batteries. If still no power than replace the batteries because they are dead. The batteries in the scooter need to be kept charged. If the scooter has not been charge in two weeks to a month and over. They are probably dead and need replacing. Find replacements at razor.com
check to make sure the alternator is charging the battery.crank engine while idling the alternator out put should be 13.5 volts to 14.5 volts. if not alternator is not charging the battery.if alternator is charging battery.the battery is weak.if its over 5 years old its more likely battery.if battery not old checks out good .replace battery cables..
Hopefully this will work for you. Go to your cell phone provider and ask them for a 3G Sim card. To my knowledge all V3XX are 3G. I discovered that my service provider had 3G SIM cards after I purchased my husband a v3xx and he had problems with his service. I was told by the service technician when I called for help to try the 3G and it made the difference for my husbands v3XX. I am not certain this will fix your issues but it is always best to use an item t hat has been made special for that phone type... Meaning 3G.... I hope it works. I don't know if it will cost you anything or not. In my state they do not charge for SIM cards. But I have heard that some other states charge around $20 for a SIM card.
