I have a MW1388 player and have downloaded albums from two different computers and all tracks have a low pitch fluttering sound in the back ground. The sound is also there between the tracks
If they are songs that somone paid for, no matter who, then they probably DMR attached to them. T

- SORRY, HIT THE WRONG BUTTON. What you are descriing is what happens when u play a DRM song on a device that is not authorized to play it. Your player is DRM (Digital Rights Management)compliant, meaning there is nothing in its software to defeat the DRM, so you get the sound. If you paid for the songs yourself, you have to use windows XP and Windows media player version 10 to upload music to your player. If you are using XP and have Windows Media PLayer 11, you'll have to do a firmware update to your MP3 player.
The firmware is here if you need it (its free): http://www.gpx.com/store/p/186-MW3836.aspx
