TI 83 - will not turn on (by 4 users)

I have a TI-83 (not plus), and everything was functioning well -- no problems up until now.

I cleared the memory since there was a lot of unneccessary junk, but now, my calculator will not even turn on.

I've attempted to do the "Hold down Clear while re-installing new battery, then pressing Clear and On at the same time," but it still does not turn on.
