Question about Microwave Ovens
We removed a GE under counter microwave and we are trying to replace it with a matag which is the same size. There is ia frame behind the microwave but the matag will not fit, what should we do ?
You'll have to remove and/or modify the frame & existing mounting plate as required, which may require some amount of cutting and drilling too.
The dimensions of the mount that the new one needs will be detailed in your installation instructions.
If for some reason you don't have yours, you can download Maytag (made for Whirlpool by L.G.) owner's manuals and installation instructions here.
