zeus_s007- This is a pretty technical, request so i hope you understand my instructions. I hope the harness plug is present, this makes it easier.First of all i'll give you the wire colors, there are a couple the same color and we will start there.
tan-left front speaker-positive
gray-left front speaker-negative
light green-right front speaker-pos.
dark green-right front sreaker-neg.
brown-left rear speaker-pos.
yellow-left rear speaker-neg.
dark blue-right rear speaker-pos.
light blue-right rear speaker-neg.
orange-12volt constant-memory
black-ground
yellow- 12volt key switched-may be bigger than yellow speaker wire-we can check the wires, will explain later.
gray - dash dimmer
brown-dash dimmer
You don't need the last 2 mentioned, any others left over not needed.
The safest way to check the 2 brown, grey, and yellow is to use a AA battery, as a speaker tester. You take the colored wires for the speakers and touch the AA battery to them. For example you know the 2blue ones are right rear wires-so take the AA battery and touch one blue to the one end of the AA battery and the other end to the other blue wire, you will hear static on that speaker. This will let you know the 2 proper wires for the speaker,no static -wrong wire.you only have to do this for the grey, brown, and yellow wires.Well I hope I don't confuse you,if your not sure, let me know.Good luck, happy wiring.
