Question about Acer Aspire One PC Notebook
My Acer Aspire is less than one year from purchase (March 2009) but battery does not seem to charge. I left it plugged in overnight. Battery light continuously blinked while plugged in, but did not charge. Could the battery be ''dead'' this quickly????
A blinking battery light usually means the battery will not take a charge from the system. When this happens the most likely cause is a shorted cell in the battery. Since it is under Acer warranty contact tech support and they will send you a replacement battery. Batteries normally last 2-3 years but you could have a factory defect in yours that just showed up after a little bit of use.
