Klh powered subwoofer model ASW10-120B... when you plug in to power... it makes a loud buzzing/humming noise

I would check the caps on the power supply. They are rather large electrolytic capacitors that will look like they burst and/or leaking. When these die, the caps ground and the sub will make a loud buzzing sound. If you are handy with a soldering iron you can replace them yourself. Replace them with the same voltage or a little bigger and same with the size.

If the cap. says 16v 4700pF on it, for example, a 20v 5300pF or a 16v 6200mF cap. will work for this application.

Its Pretty simple
All you've to do is Download AUDACITY its a freeware Program
Then load the Sound file
And THERE Should be an option at top "EFFECTS"
Click that and Find

Click Noise REMOVAL and there should be a button saying
"OBTAIN PROFILE"
Click that and Choose a fine starting of recording which Includes Noise
NOTICE
WHEN YOU'LL RECORD , LEAVE THE RECORDING ON SOMETIME SO IT CAN OBTAIN A NOISE PROFILE

Why is my califone record player making a low hum noise?

Could be that the earthing lead isn't properly attached. Have a look at the manual and follow the instructions.

I have a pair of JM lab Electra 905 speakers, running through a DNM amp and power amps. When powered up, the left speaker makes a very loud humming noise. This has happened recently. I haven't changed...

Hello
Switch on your amp, keep its volue down to extreme low, and listen if there is still hum through the left channel or not. If still there is hum, the left side power amplifier section inside the amp;ifier is faulty. If htere is no hum at this state, hum enters thorugh the audio input terminal, and the input wires must be checked for open sheild connection. OK.

Satellite Pro microphone has hum in background when recording

Usual cause of mike hum is poor earth of screen in cable. Check connections between cable and earth pin or shell of plug. Don't make earth connections at both ends of cable as this will create a loop areal and pick up electrical noise.

You might also want to check for poor amp earthing. Normally moving close to, or touching, the front panel will reveal this problem as hum will reduce dramatically.

Humming noise/ feedback

your mixer should be grounded by the power cord, and the decks have a seperate ground wire which connects, usually on a screw terminal, to the mixer, which provides the ground for the decks. I would try the headshells to make sure they are tight and connected correctly also make sure the power socket on the wall is earthed properly.
