Re: stopped working and I only have 70 songs downloaded

This is what I did. I hooked mine to the USB and entered in safe mode. I then formated the memory using windows. I had to put a few songs on and then delete them, but it seems to be working now, but not as well as it did before the problem. And I have noticed that I had trouble putting some songs on the POS.

Not enough space for music MB please free 90 MB comes up on screen then turns its self off

Hi paulrowley75..Sounds to me like you have to delete some of your files/music/etc off of the MP3 player before you can add more..Follow the directions below for deleting files/pictures/etc.
Hook up your mp3 player to your computer
Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer"
When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there.
Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on "Open" and now your files/songs should be visible.
Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want, release, right click and then click on "Delete"
Now you mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want.
Please take time to rate me

When i turn on my player its saying that i need 20mb free space,

Hey welcome to fixya. I hope u 'll be fine.
Actually the problem is occurring due to maximum memory storage. Every device needs some space to load and for working. There 'll be no no space of 20 mb in your device which is its need to working so make some free space first
  • Simply delete some useless data like (songs) from it. When there will be free space up to 20Mb then this problem 'll b solved.
If it was helpful then do Rate me and give some feed back. THANKS

My MP3 player says I have 48.34 mb of free memory but it will not show the music that I have downloaded - it says I have no songs and I had over 100 songs downloaded. Model is YP-U2J. Please help - what is...

It seems that the songs you are downloading in your MP3 player are not compatible with your MP3 player.
check the compatibility in the manual of your MP3 player.
check the format of songs before downloading.

THANK YOU for contacting

"formatting problem"

I had a similar problem, I could upload songs, but they wouldn't play and I couldn't delete them. turned out it was cause I didn't have WMP10 installed on my PC, had an older version. the user manual states it only works with WMP10, and after I installed it (just search for windows media player 10 on the microsoft website) I was able to use the synch function in WMP10 and all the songs are playable (I'm listening to an album as I type :D)
