O.k. i think i can help you.look inside and remove the will see the heater and to the left of it are 2 sensors, clean them with a light grit sandpaper or emory cloth also there are 2 more that are on the right side back wall of the tank clean as well.unscrew the top and bottom wash arms with a pair of channelocks or pliers.inspect the seams of the wash arms and look for cracks or seperation.if they are they need to be replaced (this can cause the problem 50% of the time).those sensors tell the control board where the water level is at all times,if those sensors are dirty or malfunctioning the dishwasher will do all kinds of you delime the unit?if not get clr (calcium lime rust) can buy at home depot, lowes, supermarkets, turn the dishwasher on,let fill and pour a cup of clr then run a cycle.deliming the unit keeps the sensors and tank could be a couple other things but try these first and let me know.

Hi I have a Hobart LXIH dishwasher and it is leaking water out of the bottom corners of the door. Do you know what might be causing this?It has a seal at the top but no seal on the sides or bottom.

Make sure your rinse wash arms have the end plugs. If one is missing, water will spray out door.

Your fill valve could possibly be malfunctioning, therefore not closing all of the way. I used to work for Hobart. These LX machines can be a pain in the rear. If you have a water softner, then the valve is probably functioning normally. I do not recall it ever being the door gaskets. I would think you should be getting an error code with the wrench. This is a hot water machine. If you have lime scale building up inside, you may try deliming it. The drain valve could be also causing a problem. There are so many things it could be.

Not sure if you have an LXIC or an LX30.
Both have a pull out drawer at the top. Both have the main connection of power on the contactor in the front left corner. Both have control circuit fuses between the contactor and relay board.
Use caution with a digital meter to test.

AM14C slight leak at the bottom of the water deposit tank,

I love these machines. Keep it and fix the leak.

If you have a leak. You have to find out where it is coming from. Dripping water from the bottom of tank can be coming from a number of different places and at different times thru out the cycle. The rinse cycle or wash cycle or all the time.

The first place to check is the pump. It will leak during the wash cycle. Especially from the top gasket. This one commonly goes out.

The pump motor shaft seal will leak all the time but will drip from motor, not the tank area. You want to fix this before it ruins your motor bearings or motor.

But since you have a corner machine, the first thing to check is the rear door panel. This is were your door would be if you had a straight thru machine instead of a corner machine. It has teflon guides just like your actual doors and they do leak at times or all the time if the guides are
not sealing. IF food particles accumilate at the bottom of that panel it blocks the water from running back into machine and instead, onto your floor from the bottom of tank areas. This is anther common leak.
The teflon guides should be replaced if they have cracks in them or are brittle and flaking apart. Sometimes they slide down and can be push back up from inside the machine. In either case, you will need to clean all the crud from that back panel edge. Usually thats all I do to fix that leak is just clean it up and push those guides out to outside edge with the tip of my screwdriver to tighten the seal between them and the channel.

Hope that helps!

Leaks water from bottom of door. Error code E7 ?

I found this and it also may have to do with the door old is the unit...if door seals get old and stiff..(not soft and pliable) they sometimes leak...after usage the heat and moisture may cause them to swell and or become soft thereby sealing better...but this is what I found in the user manual.

Machine displays "E7" on LX30 model or "CLEAN PROBE" on LX40 model.
1. Clean water sensors inside tank.
It suggests contacting Hobart if this fails but I also found this problem is associated with fill in an E4 error...this what you do in that case....

Machine won't fill or won't fill high enough(LX18, LX30 display shows "E0," "E2," "E3," or "E4")

1.Low water pressure — check for clogged hose strainer; check that site water pressure meets minimum flow pressures.
2.Make sure probes are clean.
3.No water pressure — main water supply valves may not be working.
4.Drain valve open - turn machine off to drain machine, then on. Repeat twice (this assists in clearing any drain valve obstructions). Wait for machine to reach READY mode and press WASH. Slowly open door several seconds later and note water level. Close door; 30 seconds later, open door slowly and check that water level is the same as it was. If not, repeat the
OFF-ON procedure.
5. Delime machine.

Good Luck and I hope this helps...let me know if it doesn't and i am sure I can get to the bottom of it...thanks for rating my effort...the Fang.

Dish washer over filling?

The first thing you should do is clean the level probes in the unit. There are two probes sticking through the back of the unit and the water completes a circuit between these two telling the machine when it is full. If they are clean, you may have a faulty sensor or wiring.
