How do you apply eyeshadow to dark brown eyes?

Ok, you have dark brown eyes? So do I! Many women do, its the most dominant eye color in the world. Ok so, how do you make them look big and beautiful? You must buy great makeup! Ok so one way to make them pop is to buy different eyeshadow colors than your eye is. So for you I would recommend a pink with gold, a blue with sliver, a light purple, a peachy color, something sparkly, but lighter colored. Don't use dark eyeshadow on dark eyes! Also, you must buy a good mascara. I tend to use dark mascara and lighter eyeshadow. It really does make your eyes big and georgous! Don't use eyeliner on dark eyes unless its on the top! It makes your eyes look smaller! Proven fact that when you have dark eyes, and you put eyeliner on the bottom, it makes them look small, and beaty. I hope this answer helped you out. Enjoy :]

There is a lot of red eye on the photos ,please help.I cannot find a red eye reduction button on the camera.

I don't know whether this camera has red-eye reduction. It is likely to be found in the setup for the flash, or as a toggle for the flash setting. On some cameras, you toggle through the available flash settings until the icon (usually a lightening bolt) has an eye next to it.

Red eye reduction is not perfect even if the camera offers it. You get a much better solution by using a photo editing program in the computer to remove red eye from your shots. Many such programs have a function just for this that works almost automatically. You may have gotten a photo editing program with the camera, but there are many others downloadable for free on the net, try www.download.com.

Colors are off. Browns print green or purple. I

BROWN is made by mixing two of the three "primary" colours.
So, if the printer is out of RED ink, you'll get the "other" primary colour.

Print a "test" page, and verify that part of that page is RED.

Run a printer "cleaning" cycle, and consider replacing the RED cartridge.

DSC-H7 camera, getting red eye or white eye spots

First, here is why they are red or white spots:

The red is the reflection of your flash on the retinas of your subjects. The white are generally animal eyes reflecting back.

You will notice this on flash shots only and mostly when you use the zoom. The zoom uses a "narrow" field of view so the light that reflects back is "direct", instrad of at an angle.

The fix: Change the ISO setting (it is set too high). It is probably near the maximum sensitivity (3200?)... set it to 400 or so and try that for a while. 800 is probably the best general setting, but try 400 first.

Try not to use the flash unless you really have to, but only if the subject is less than 12 feet away. If no people are in the picture, you may use the flash for subjects greater than 12 feet.

this should work for you...

Continuous Red Eyes and dark photos every other one.

1) The red eye effect is due to pupil dilation. When the person is standing in dark, the pupils dilate to allow more light to enter the eye so that objects are visible. In such conditions if you try to take a snap then you might end up having Red eyes.
What Red eye reduction technique does is that it flashes a series of times before the actual snap is taken and due the series of flashes, the pupil try to adjust by closing down and reducing the red eye effect, hence stronger the flash, less is the red eye effect.
Also, there are bundles of software out there which can detect red eye and remove the same.. I am not sure, you might have received software even along with your camera that can address this issue.

2) The use of Speed-Lite 430 might not be always .. It depends on the conditions and distance of the object from the camera lens. Onboard lite should be enough to capture the subjects that are within 5-6 meters and to get rid of shadows where as if the surroundings are very dark then you might want to fallback on Speed-Lite 430.

3) The basic difference between the RAW and JPEG is that RAW is uncompressed format and you can do editing and compression at later time where as JPEG is a compressed format and you might not be able to do as much as you can do with RAW format. Unless you want to edit the images at later stage, you might not want to use RAW.

Please let me know if any further explaination is needed.. Till then Happy Photography :)

Regards,
Srinivas

How do you activate red eye reduction in the 5900?

To take photos with red eye reduction requires your flash to firerapidly before snapping the pic. Make sure camera is in record mode pres the 4 way switch with the lightning sign on it. The flash modes will pop up. select red eye flash.

To fix red-eye after a photo is taken. Bring up the photo in playback mode and press menu button. Red eye reduction should be available as one of the menu items. Otherwise, display the pic, press OK button in center and if you like the fixed picture then select yes to store it.

Red eye

This camera is bad for red eye. It's just a problem that happens when the flash is so close to the lens. Red eye occurs when the flash illuminates the subject's retina.

The only solution, really, is to add an external flash that's farther away from the camera lens, which is not an option with this camera. The other, is to get better at taking photos without flash. Higher end cameras have better ways to deal with the red-eye, but these usually involve preflashes that close the subjects pupils (by blinding them with a preflash) before the actual exposure is taken. The Sony DSC-U30 has it as a feature, but it doesn't work very well, I've found. When it does work, it's a nice compromise as it gets rid of the red eye, but it also introduces a delay between pressing the exposure button and the actual taking of the photo.

Unless the light is very dim, I don't use flash with this camera.

After you've taken the photo and have downloaded it, there are ways to edit the red eye out that can be pretty effective.
