Question about Penn Gt Series Levelwind Reels 330GTi

1 Answer

Penn 140 disassembly instructions. I have a 140 (inherited) which was disassembled by "someone", I don't know who. The results were: the anti reverse lever feels like it;s pushing against a spring rendering the anti-reverse non-operable. I have not taken it back apart yet but feel that I can deal with that when done. Were all 140's a one-nut disassembly? This doesn't seem to be. I am familiar with the jigmaster and surf master, should I expect any surprises once disassembled?

Pull off the muffler and you should see the piston and ring. Look for carbon buildup...poke the ring to see if it is stuck in it's groove...there should be a bit of spring in the ring. You might see carbon scoring. Stuck ring means low compression which means no start. Carbon buildup is due to too much oil in fuel mixture.

DeWalt DW309 type II

for a diagram I would go to dewaltservicenet.com and download it. As far as instructions I am not aware of any. Most tool mfr's don't post detailed instructions for the disassembly so they can keep the repairs in house with their technicians. If you give me specific concerns or questions I will try and help. I would recommend taking photos while you are taking apart. Also if you give me the specific reason for wanting to disassemble again I will try and help.

Namy laptop fan is not working. how to fix this problem? pls help

Check if this is plugged into the board properly. You may need to disassemble the laptop if the fan is loose. If it was working faintly a while before, and now it completely not working, it may be because the fan is clustered with dirt and dust. Get a can of compressed air (specifically for electronics) and blow inside towards the fan from underneath. In SOME cases, you might want to completely disassemble your laptop to remove all the dirt. Please do not attempt to disassemble your laptop if you are not confident with it. You have to get someone experienced to do it for you. If these solutions don't work, then I don't know. Good luck.

How to replace Sony monitor case

I couldn?t find disassembly instructions for your CRT; however, I can give you some safety warnings and some general hints. If no one else posts at mine will either discourage you OR give you enough to start. First off CRTs are dangerous, taking one apart without the proper training and precautions can kill or severely injure you. If you don?t already have the training and experience discharging the stored energy in the monitor you should not attempt it even if you have ?instructions?. If you decided to continue on then there are typically four screws holding the back of the monitor case to the front panel. On some higher end Sony?s they are covered with a plastic cover that you can easily pry off with a screwdriver. Once you have them out then the back cover can be removed, exposing the tube and remainder of the electronics. Again a warning, unless you know what you are doing you run the risk of severe electric shock and should not proceed. Usually there are a series of screws that attach the chassis to the front panel, remove them, the panel electronic connections and the disassembly should be done.
